Title: Entanglement Wedge Reconstruction via Universal Recovery Channels
Abstract: I will discuss the reconstruction of bulk effective field theory within the AdS/CFT correspondence from boundary CFT data. In particular, I'll focus on the problem of reconstruction of bulk operators using data restricted to subregions of the CFT, a situation known as entanglement wedge reconstruction. The main tool comes from quantum information science and concerns the problem of optimal recovery from the action of a noisy quantum operation.
