| Steve Rolston has been choosen as the recipient of the Kirwan Undergraduate Education Award for 2014. The prestigious award recognizes a faculty member who has made exceptional contributions to the quality of undergraduate education at the university. Professor Rolston, co-director of the JQI, was recognized for his outstanding achievment in engaging undergraduates (majors and non-majors alike) in science education, emphasizing its applicability and importance in everyday life. He is a model faculty member skilled at research and exceedingly devoted to the department's teaching mission. The award will be presented at the Campus Convocation this fall in the Memorial Chapel. |  |
