Title: Testing decaying dark matter with 21cm and the CMB spectrum

Abstract:
84% of the matter in the universe is "dark", presently invisible to us except through its gravitational interactions. However, even tiny interactions between dark and visible matter could have striking effects on the primordial history of our universe, and leave distinctive traces of their existence in the low-energy background photons that pervade the cosmos. I will discuss the range of signals from dark matter decay that could be produced in distortions to the cosmic microwave background radiation and the cosmic 21cm signal, and the experimental status of these probes with respect to current and planned future telescopes.
