Campus parking is administered by the University’s Department of Transportation Services (DOTS). Permit eligibility, parking locations, and payment methods vary based on your University affiliation. Please review the section below that applies to your status to obtain the appropriate permit.

Staff & Faculty

Faculty and staff must have an active University appointment and a valid University Identification (UID) to be eligible for parking. To request a permit, complete the required Payroll Deduction Authorization and Parking Registration forms.

After completing both forms, email the requested vehicle information to Eric Allen Walukonis  (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.). Include the following in the body of your email:

  • Model
  • Make
  • Year
  • Pay Tier (see DOTS fee schedule here)

DOTS may place a hold on new assignments to Lot B (Regents Drive Garage) due to capacity limits; parking assignments are managed exclusively by DOTS and are not controlled by the Physics Department.

C1 Employees (Contingent I)

C1 Employees (Contingent I) may enroll in payroll deduction if they work enough hours to cover the cost; if more than two payroll deductions are missed, the permit must be purchased outright. C1 employees should complete the same Payroll Deduction Authorization and Parking Registration forms as full-time faculty and staff and then email Eric Allen Walukonis (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.) with the required vehicle information in the body of the message (Model, Make, Year, and Pay Tier).

Non-paid Appointments

Individuals with non-paid appointments may request permit access by emailing Eric Allen Walukonis (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.) and providing their UID, along with whether they wish to purchase a semester or annual permit. Once your status is confirmed, a permit will be added to your parking account, and payment can then be made online using your University Directory ID and password with a credit card.

Retiree Permits

Retiree permits are valid only in designated faculty/staff overflow lots and are not valid in Lot B (Regents Drive Garage). Vehicles displaying a valid state-issued disability placard or disability license plate may park in Lot B (Regents Drive Garage), including ADA-designated spaces, in accordance with applicable accessibility regulations.

Emeritus Permits

Emeritus permits allow parking in any unrestricted lot on campus.
