Title:
Homology and Cohomology in Physics

Abstract:
In this pedagogical talk, we will introduce topological homology and cohomology from a physically motivated viewpoint. Common integrals in electromagnetism will provide an initial motivation. Applications will be provided for the toric code and generalisations, and other applications will be briefly mentioned. Physical intuition will be prioritised over mathematical rigor. No background in topology expected.
